We've visited a few of the fancy standard mince pies this year already, and they've been pretty good. This one may buck that trend.
ASDA have performed well in recent years but mostly with their in store range.
These are just ok, and whilst they're cheap enough at 24p each, they're closer to a standard mince pie. The "Exceptional" or "Luxury" tags don't shine through enough for me. I can detect the cognac and port but the orange oil is AWOL. The pastry is ok, but only just ok.
A little disappointing. The score represents that.
