Co-op All Butter Pastry Luxury Mince Pies

Co-op All Butter Pastry Luxury Mince Pie Review 2025

Review: Every supermarket seems to have this mince pie – it’s a standard pie, no chocolate, salted caramel or crumble top, but it’s a little fancy, a sprinkle of luxury. Co-op up next.

Another strong mince pie in this category, Co-op have a history of producing winners but they’re usually their fresh bakery pies. These are very high quality though, very tasty.

If anything brings the score down, they’re a little sweet. Probably due to the apple based mincemeat. But it doesn’t detract enough to pull the scored down out of the 8 range.

The pastry is similar to the Aldi luxury mince pie, it’s sweet and a little crumbly but it’s what sets these apart from a ‘church hall special’. The brandy and port in the mincemeat does comes through but not as much as in previous years – but still high quality and well filled.

If anything the design is the fanciest so far in 2025. Every little helps…oh wait, that’s Tesco. In terms of price, these are over twice the price of the Aldi luxury mince pies which feels wild.
